The Foreigner's monthly readership has grown substantially since launch in 2009. It reaches readers in over 100 countries, particularly the US and UK, in addition to Norway.
Our news section attracts an audience from a wide range of backgrounds including politicians, oil companies, foreign and national media, expats, and foreign workers.
Advertising Options
There are a number of advertising options available.
Banner Adverts
We offer many types of sizes of banner advert. Landscape banner adverts are available on the front page and on article pages themselves at the top and the bottom as shown. These can be in static image, animated, or flash format.
Small adverts can be placed in the side columns on most pages (either to the left or right, depending on the page).
We offer a range of banner advert prices according to the size and how often it appears.
Side Square Adverts (250x250 or 125x125)
These square, smaller adverts appear in the side column, to the right or the left, and on most pages as above. [APPLY NOW]
Side Rectangle Adverts (120x240 or 240x400)
These rectangular adverts appear in the side column, to the right or the left, and on most pages as above. [APPLY NOW]
Skyscraper Adverts (600x160 or 160x600)
These tall adverts appear in the side column, to the right or the left, and on most pages as above. [APPLY NOW]
Banner Advert (728x90)
These wide banner adverts appear on the home, category pages and articles, excluding the top banner advert (see below). [APPLY NOW]
Top Banner Advert (728x90)
This allows you to advertise using the top banner advert across the home, category pages and articles for maximum exposure. [APPLY NOW]
Other information
All adverts have a minimum contract of 1 month, and discounts may be available for 3 or more months. Each advert can potentially be shared with up to two other adverts – except in the case of the top banner, where it will be shared with one other – so we can guarantee that it be shown for at least 33% of the time.
In most cases it is likely to be shown 50-100% of the time.
If you require exclusivity on any of the advert types (i.e. 100% of the time), this can be arranged for a higher fee.
Please note that The Foreigner does not accept ads for sexual services, weapons, pharmaceuticals, financial services, illegal products, or any other offensive/defamatory/suspect content.
All ads are published at the discretion of the editor. The Foreigner accepts no responsibility for the content of any ads, and you respond at your own risk.
