Norwegian police arrested a 21-year-old Iraqi Kurd male in Skien, Sunday, suspected of murdering a 23-year-old man in a club in Switzerland two weeks ago.
The repeated stabbing allegedly happened outside Zurich’s Kaufleuten club during the early hours of the morning.
Prosecutors in the Swiss capital told local newspaper Blick that the Norwegian police have provided great help in locating the suspected man.
He is likely to be extradicted to Switzerland and police there are confident that his transfer into their custody will not take more than two weeks, Norwegian paper Aftenposten reported earlier this week.
