GPS tracking for pre-school children. Norwegian journalists have been ringing a Swedish school following reports it equips children with GPS transmitters. Staff at Malmö’s Kronprinsens förskola decided to employ the prototype method to help them keep track of their many pupils after makers Purple Scout asked them to test out the technology. “It is not intended as a substitute for staff”, says teacher Karin Werholt to Aftenposten, “parents have been positive towards the additional check.”

Norwegian journalists have been ringing a Swedish school following reports it equips children with GPS transmitters.
