Norway house prices up. Prices on all types of houses have increased 3.5 percent between the last quarter of 2011 and the first quarter of 2012, according to Statistics Norway. Meanwhile in Sweden, house prices have risen differently, with the average prices of detached houses increasing by 9.5 percent between 2008 and 2011 compared to Norway’s 35.1 percent for the same years.

Prices on all types of houses have increased 3.5 percent between the last quarter of 2011 and the first quarter of 2012, according to Statistics Norway.

The results show house prices are on average 6.3 percent higher than they were a year ago.Flats have increased by 8.6 percent, with terraced houses seeing an increase of 6.4 percent and detached houses 5.4 percent.

Meanwhile in Sweden, house prices have risen differently, with the average prices of detached houses increasing by 9.5 percent between 2008 and 2011 compared to Norway’s 35.1 percent for the same years.
