During their time in Oslo, they will have dinner at the Palace, and be greeted by Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg. The couple will also meet some of the young people who were on Utøya at the time of the attacks in July.
Moreover, the Prince and Duchess will travel to Bergen where they will attend a concert at Håkon’s Hall (Haakonshallen) and visit the HMS 'Liverpool' berthed there.
Their visit will coincide with the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee with celebrations marking her 60 years on the Throne.
Events for the jubilee in June include the Thames Pageant, which will involve almost 1000 boats from around the UK, as well as the Service of Thanksgiving followed by a carriage procession.
