British Right-Wing blogger admits Breivik connection

Paul Ray, also known as the blogger Lionheart, has admitted that he may have had contact with Anders Behring Breivik.
“What he did was evil. I could never do what he has done to promote my own beliefs”, said Ray to The Times.
Although he was one of the founder members of the English Defence League, he has since publicly distanced himself from the organisation, branding them Nazis on his blog.
Ray’s denials of direct contact with Breivik are somewhat hollow, however. On his blog, he says that because Breivik’s manifesto mentions ‘Richard the Lionhearted’ as his English contact, rather than his online alias ‘Lionheart’, this must be referring to someone else.
Nevertheless, in an interview with the Daily Telegraph, Ray did admit that Breivik seemed to have drawn inspiration from his writings. He said: “It does worry me that he got inspiration from my blog and it does look that way.”
“I am horrified that I am linked to what happened here,” he said. “How can anyone in a sane mind condone what he did? The mind boggles at it and you cannot comprehend what he has done.”
