IKEA recalls dangerous products

IKEA advises everyone to return its FÖRSTÅ coffee/tea makers immediately after discovering a serious fault that could cause injuries.

The company says it has been informed one customer received cuts, with reports of 12 others being burnt after pressure from the metal holder caused the glass container to break without warning. 20 incidents have been reported around the world.
FÖRSTÅ comes in 0.4l and 1l sizes, and the faulty products were sold between February and December last year.
IKEA apologises for any inconvenience caused, and customers will be given a full refund.
