Changes at The Foreigner. The Foreigner will be introducing a paywall solution at the end of this week for some of our content following some five years of bringing you news, interviews, and columns. We will continue to do this via web, mobile, and social media on a “business as usual” basis, of course. Nevertheless, like with many other publications now charging, content costs amongst the advertising revenue reductions.

We will continue to do this via web, mobile, and social media on a “business as usual” basis, of course.

Nevertheless, like with many other publications now charging, content costs amongst the advertising revenue reductions.

Readers will get three free articles per month. A convenient meter in the top left-hand corner shows how many articles there are to go before the paywall notification appears.

After this time, subscriptions cost 59 kroner per month.

Signing up is easy and convenient. Just click the meter, and you will be taken to our third-party paywall provider Tinypass.

I will also personally be contactable via email at corner@theforeigner.no for any queries or if assistance is needed during the initial run-in period.

Subscription content includes:

  • Daily updates.
  • Mobile access via iOS (App Store) or Android app (Google Newsstand – own app in the pipeline).
  • Push notifications.
  • Issues affecting foreigners and Norway.
  • News.
  • Politics.
  • Interviews.
  • Weekend content, including columns, features, commentaries, editorials.
  • The odder/funnier side of Norwegian news.

Thank you for reading The Foreigner so far, and we are glad you are interested in, and find our articles useful.

Best regards
