Editor’s tip: Træe. Why not take a trip out of town this Sunday to visit Jæren’s only surviving farm-worker’s house called “Træe”? The house is located just South of Bryne just of the RV44. The picture of the Northern Lapwing is Time council’s insignia. How to get there:Take the E39 Motorway in the direction of Kristiansand until you see a sign to the Rv44 to Bryne. Come off here.At the roundabout, go straight on.Continue on the RV44 until you come to Bryne. (You’ll see the Bryne Kro and Motel on your L with a mini-golf course.At the roundabout, continue straight on.At the next roundabout, continue straight on.Up the hill, watch for the 60 kph speed-camera.Keep going, and take the 2nd on the L. (You will have seen the house on top of the hill to the left just before you turn off.There isn’t much parking, so just try your luck.

How to get there:

  1. Take the E39 Motorway in the direction of Kristiansand until you see a sign to the Rv44 to Bryne. Come off here.
  2. At the roundabout, go straight on.
  3. Continue on the RV44 until you come to Bryne. (You’ll see the Bryne Kro and Motel on your L with a mini-golf course.

  5. At the next roundabout, continue straight on.
  6. Up the hill, watch for the 60 kph speed-camera.
  7. Keep going, and take the 2nd on the L. (You will have seen the house on top of the hill to the left just before you turn off.

Open from 13:00 – 16:00 (summer). Check with Time kommune for other times
