Ms Salamova’s lawyer’s, Brynjulf Risnes, tried to obtain a temporary injunction from a Oslo City Court (byfogdembete), but the Immigration Appeals Board (UNE) remained firm in its decision.

“The UNE has not received any instructions from the Court to stop her deportation, and the Board has found no grounds for a delay. There will be no reason to process the injunction request if [Ms Salamova] is sent out of the country today,” Bjørn Lyster, head of information at the UNE, tells VG.
