Oslo District Court will decide in favour of a fresh Anders Behring Breivik psychiatric review, reports indicate.

The court will announce its verdict appointing two new experts at today’s press conference scheduled for 13:00 local time.

Three psychiatrists, Agnar Aspaas, Terje Tørrisen Finn Skåderud have agreed to carry out the new review.

Jon Geir Høyersten, one of five approved by the prosecution and lawyers for the aggrieved, has since said he will not be available.

Previous experts Synne Sørheim and Torgeir Husby were able to spend four months interviewing Breivik, who they spoke to 13 times.

According to VG, the new experts will be given a different mandate,. With only three months until the trial begins, Breivik has stopped cooperating.

“We are going to talk to him in prison after the decision is made and shall be discussing this with him. He will not want to talk to new experts judging by what he has said previously,” said, defence counsel Odd Ivar Grøn.

The Foreigner will be live blogging about the press conference. Readers who wish to follow can sign up for a reminder at the bottom of this article.
