Delivery of the first Boeing 787 addition to the fleet is due to happen at the end of this month, reports the airline.

Passengers out of the Norway capital are the first to benefit from this, with return services to five European countries planned.

For Spain routes, Oslo-Malaga will depart on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, Oslo-Alicante on Mondays and Fridays, and Oslo-Barcelona on the same two days.

Norwegian will also be flying from Oslo to London (Gatwick) and Oslo to Nice. These departures will be flying on Thursdays and Sundays, and Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, respectively.

The airline advises passengers to look for the 787 symbol when booking their flight. This is a small “i” with “The Dreamliner 787 experience” written beside it.

Those who have already booked their departures on these routes will receive information by email about the Dreamliner replacing the Boeing 737, according to Norwegian.

The carrier currently has eight Dreamliners on order, with three scheduled for delivery this year, four in 2014, and one in 2015.

This summer’s European Boeing 787 flights will operate between 4 July and 4 August.
