The Foreigner Stolen painting recovered. On Sunday 08 March “Let the small children come to me” was stolen from Larvik church, who couldn’t afford the theft-insurance. The valuable oil on wood painting called by Lucas Cranach the Elder was found by police yesterday in the back of a white Ford Transit van. It was parked in Porsgrunn outside an unoccupied house.The van’s 51 year-old owner has been charged and is now in jail for an initial period of four weeks.

On Sunday 08 March “Let the small children come to me” was stolen from Larvik church, who couldn’t afford the theft-insurance.



The valuable oil on wood painting called by Lucas Cranach the Elder was found by police yesterday in the back of a white Ford Transit van. It was parked in Porsgrunn outside an unoccupied house.
