Stoltenberg's American relatives pay him a visit. Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg recently played host to far-away family from ‘over there’. In yesterday’s episode of a new television series called “Uncle America”, the PM was introduced to distant relatives Christoph and Gavin Elster from Seattle, who were flown in specially. Programme leaders Espen ‘The Dane’ Selvig and Thomas ‘Fingers’ Gullestad found the brothers when they travelled to America last year to look for relatives of well known Norwegians.

‘Fingers’ told Dagbladet website kjendis.no, “I still don’t understand, how we managed to get Jens Stoltenberg in the programme at all.”

They are also pleased the US-Norway family meeting has shown the programme can work, even though many people found chose not to take part in the series.

“It just shows the good old theory that anything is possible but only if you try is correct. Now we need to send a letter to Obama.”
