Tina Nordström knows how to create a bit of a stir. “Cookalong” Ramsay, normally famous for his responses, visited her on her programme on TV4, and got a taste of what it’s like to be on the receiving end.

According to the Swedish newspaper Expressen, the British chef commented on the smallness of her peppermill, to which she replied

“The bigger the peppermill is, the smaller the sausage.”

Gob-smacked, Ramsay could only manage a comment about the suitability of her one-liner, pointing out that

“This is a family show.”

Nordström was unabashed, being popular in her own right at home, and earning 100,000 Swedish kroner per episode.

But what’s new? Trouble between chefs in the kitchen is not unheard of.
