Tight budget for Service Centre in Stavanger. Quick processing times, but too few employees. The new Foreigner’s Service Centre in Stavanger - in the same building as Skatt Vest - is just under 10 days old, but lack of money has meant they are short of staff. “We’re doing our utmost to manage under the circumstances and would have liked more positions from day one,” Krisitn Tøllefsen, head of the centre tells Rogalands Avis.

Labour (Ap) party MP Eirin Sund says she’s aware of the problem, and promises that both Ap and the government will do their best to increase the centre’s budget at the next opportunity.

Processing times have been less than a week, with 500 people having visited the new centre so far.
