Volcano eruption stops Norwegian air traffic. Avinor say most routes closed. The recent volcano eruption on Iceland has stopped most of the air traffic over Norway. Avinor say some air space over Østlandet and Trondheim is open for now, but expect it to be closed later this morning.

The recent volcano eruption on Iceland has stopped most of the air traffic over Norway.

Avinor say some air space over Østlandet and Trondheim is open for now, but expect it to be closed later this morning.

Passengers are advised to check with their airline or travel company for further details.
