White Christmas in Rogaland?. Meteorologist forecasts mixed conditions. “In the course of the next 24 hours outlying coastal areas will see rain, with up to centimetres of snow in some parts the further inland you go,” Øyvind Johnsen at the Meteorological Institute in Oslo tells The Foreigner. He goes on to predict that the first half of Sunday could also see some precipitation, with winds increasing to between 12 and 15 metres per second. Temperatures will rise to a maximum of two degrees above zero.

“In the course of the next 24 hours outlying coastal areas will see rain, with up to centimetres of snow in some parts the further inland you go,” Øyvind Johnsen at the Meteorological Institute in Oslo tells The Foreigner.

He goes on to predict that the first half of Sunday could also see some precipitation, with winds increasing to between 12 and 15 metres per second. Temperatures will rise to a maximum of two degrees above zero.

“But though we expect mainly dry weather in Rogaland from the middle of Sunday up to Christmas Day, there’ll be wintry conditions from then on, with a good chance of snow around Stavanger,” he says.
